“Was travelling by myself for two nights for an event in Hebden bridge. This hotel was cosy and welcoming and the staff were all very helpful. The food was really good with a varied menu, and the rooms are very comfortable and clean. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.”

“I booked a standard ensuite double room but upgraded to the Tudor Suite. I chose this hotel because it is hundreds of years old, which is something we don’t get to experience much in the USA! The hotel obviously has all the charm of such an old place and would be awesome for a romantic getaway (although I was traveling alone on this trip!). There is lots of parking, which is free. “It is a nice convenient hotel. Clean. Tea and coffee facilities were nice to settle down nicely on arrival and when I woke up in the morning. Mini refrigerator was handy to keep my leftover food in the refrigerator to eat in the morning. Comfortable table and internet. I give 4 star only as there was no toilet in the room and I hesitated to leave my room in the middle of the night.”

“Had a lovely weekend here. This hotel was perfect. Nice and quiet but lively enough to provide a pleasant ambiance without ever being noisy or overbearing. Staff throughout were lovely and the food is very good. Would highly recommend if you are looking for somewhere to get away and relax.”
