The home itself is absolutely stunning but the road to the villa is not just narrow, it's washed out in many places, we struggled to navigate the potholes even with a jeep and an SUV, I would not drive it at night. There are great amenities like the fridge and bathroom downstairs, the coffee / cocktail bar is fabulous.The kitchen was well-stocked with basic spices and supplies but it was crawling with roaches. Wifi is spotty so be sure to have the guidebook downloaded and screenshots of the phone number to call because the phone number posted throughout the villa is not functioning. Even in August the combination of ACs, fans, and breezes kept the temprature very comfortable. Excellent pool, though very little shallow area, if you're traveling with kids or weaker swimmers.

My experience at Don Rafa Suites Residence was absolutely wonderful and exceeded our expectations. We stayed with our family, and from the moment we arrived, we received friendly, attentive, and professional service. The property is beautiful, elegant, clean, and comfortable.We especially appreciated the valet parking service. Our vehicle was well taken care of throughout our entire stay, and the service was always fast and efficient. We also had a late checkout, which made our experience even more convenient and enjoyable. Everything was handled smoothly and professionally. One detail we absolutely loved was how amazing the property smelled. The entire place had such a fresh, clean, and elegant scent that made the atmosphere even more welcoming. Overall, we felt very comfortable and well taken care of from beginning to end. The experience was even better than we expected. Don Rafa Suites Residence was truly a 10/10 experience for us, and we would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful place to stay, whether traveling with family or enjoying a getaway as a couple. We would absolutely stay here again! ❤️

Nice.. expensive but nice

Overall I would stay here again. Good views for morning risers. I got to store luggage until check in which started at 4pm. Hosted communicated well. I got to check in by 3pm because I was early arrival but it depends on the host. The front desk was nice and friendly. I felt safe in this area. There was an issue with the door lock so maintenance came quickly to fix it. Also this apartment is on the 7th floor with amazing views but it is outdated. There is mold in the lights, the countertop in the kitchen was cracked, the door was broken, the rusty light in the corner didn’t work, A/C Unit leaks and it gets slippery on the balcony, and the closet was broken with wires exposed. I tried uploading photos but this option didn’t work for me. We ask to change towels but the host said only 1 towel change midway through the stay and it never came. There is a pool on property but the hot tub did not work, but got both beach towels and bathroom towels. There is blow dryer but it’s old. The convenience of the place next to Old San Juan and Condado Lagoon is the perfect spot to uber everywhere which is why I booked this spot. Also Caribe Hilton is close to rent a day pass for $100 and have 24/7 ice cream shop. There is a local market shop and Piola’s Pizza was good to eat after the beach which is a 10min walk. I would rate a 3/5 because of the location but the host needs to update the apartment with new outlets, new painted walls, and new lights. No parking onsite.

Such a beautiful resort!! It was so much to do that you could just spend your entire stay there. The staff were very friendly and the restaurants on the resort were great, great food and drinks!!! I loved that you could leave out your room and go straight to the beach. The resort was beautiful, can’t wait to go back!!!
