I do not recommend this hotel, especially if you're renting a car or expect basic hospitality standards. I paid $25 per day for parking during my week-long stay, yet more than half the time I had to wait for staff or bar patrons to move their vehicles before I could park. The hotel clearly oversells its very limited parking while charging guests a premium for it. Housekeeping was equally disappointing. After the first day, I had to repeatedly request fresh towels, toiletries, toilet paper, and even have my bed made. These are basic services that should never require guests to ask. The complimentary breakfast was also poorly managed. Although it's advertised from 7-10 AM, items were often unavailable. If you wanted eggs, you had to ask the front desk employee to stop assisting guests and cook them, resulting in unnecessary delays. Even more surprising, the hotel didn't offer complimentary coffee or tea with breakfast, forcing guests to spend extra money elsewhere every morning. The only highlights were the central location in San Juan and Chris, whose local recommendations genuinely improved our trip. Overall, the hotel fails to deliver the level of service and amenities its rates suggest. Between the oversold parking, inconsistent housekeeping, and poorly managed breakfast, there are far better places to stay in San Juan.

I would definitely recommend OLV Fifty Five. It was a 10/10! The staff were extremely nice and were eager to help with anything I needed. If you’re traveling solo or with family, I would recommend. Its near everything as well and about a 8 min drive to Old San Juan.

I had an incredible time at the Fairmont. The staff was fantastic, and the rooms were spotless. I chose to stay in the bungalow, which was incredibly cozy and private. The entire property was simply amazing. The pools, beach, restaurants, and casino were all top-notch. It was a truly memorable experience.

Waste of $$$$, no entertainment, nothing is going on in this resort for adults no classes no music no shows NOTHING you are stuck. Pool open 24/7 the only plus, drinks are $27 plus restaurants way overpriced!!! Hard to get a ride to the room. Beach nothing special it’s better to get a car and go explore beaches and food and get cheaper hotel as this place doesn’t offer anything. Small fridge barely works. Plus water and ice stations all over. Expensive parking

Cons No microwave available No laundry/dryer on floors Trash disposal throughout was scarce- had to walk around with items rather than have a convenient trash can 🗑️ somewhere No courtesy continental or full breakfast BUT onsite restaurant available Went across street or short walk to hot delicious breakfast (no one had creamers☺️(my crutch) so I settle for hot chocolate from Starbucks (in the lobby along with a few upscale shopping venues LOVED - ambience - def adult vibe - entrance elegant and pampering to a warm relaxing adult mature atmosphere 💓 so many nooks and spaces to get lost in - pool area BEAUTIFUL- 4 pools cabanas that lead directly onto BEACH.. pool bars in room ordering Loved the expectation of suggested dress “code” I.e cover up while inside.. NO SMELL OF smoking OF ANY KIND was a welcome relief!! The STAFF TOP TIER GOLDEN - just helpful in every way- directions - suggestions on sites etc. Parking about $30 daily Make sure to be exact on the amount of days - refund for days not used has been/a challenge to get (pending) So many areas of the hotel - including the casino to enjoy-relax or just get lost!💃
