“Lovely hotel. Beautiful setting with an amazing view. The reviews we read before we stayed, said the staff were wonderful and friendly. Reviews often say this about hotels and we were just expecting the usual professional staff. However it must be said the staff were superb, stood out and had a major positive impact on our stay making it so enjoyable. The evening dinner very good. The breakfasts excellent. Definitely a place to stay.”

“We got to this property by chance. What a fun surprise. It is an old but very well kept inn. It has many beautiful hikes around. It is in the middle of nowhere. And that makes it even more fantastic. ”

“The Inn looks like it is on it's last legs. The other 3 pubs in Hawes all were doing a roaring trade over the hot bank holiday , but the Board closed around 7.30pm , had no food and very few clients. The breakfast in the Cockett next door was very average. Never seen green scrambled eggs before....they were rank and inedible.”
