“We asked for aground floor as we do not do well with steps and they put us in an annex which was obviously new and was just right for us. Our fault that we didn't ask for clean towels etc.
The staff are all very welcoming and the meals variable and very enjoyable.”

“My daughter and I stayed at the Fox and Coney because we were attending a wedding locally. The management ensured we had a twin room.
The room was clean. There were tea and coffee making facilities (much appreciated) the bathroom was nice with plenty of loo roll. There was plenty of space to hang our clothes. The beds were comfortable and I slept well. Breakfast next morning was excellent - both the food and the service.
I would stay here again.”

“Budget price - budget room. Room was basic but very clean and beds were comfy. Tea and coffee available (& extra if needed). We literally just slept there so perfect. Parking on site was brilliant, plenty of space - 20 minutes walk into centre. Quiet despite being over a pub. Outside Iron staircase to the accommodation was a bit daunting with luggage though so something to be mindful of, but if you’re looking for cheap accommodation in a beautiful city then, it’s ideal.”

“As soon as I walked into The George I was welcomed with friendly smiley staff who helped me check in and showed me to my room. They went through dinner times as well as breakfast.
I didn't eat breakfast as I was too full up from the dinner the previous evening, the pie was beautiful and the sticky toffee pudding was yummy!
My room was of a good size, clean and tidy and en-suite shower room was lovely.
I will definitely be booking to stay at The George again when I next visit.”
