“On arrival, went to room to find it occupied. Changed room so not too bad, but the hotel needs some care to improve the stay of its residents.”

“As a first time ,solo traveller, I couldn't praise the wonderful staff at this beautiful hotel enough. They were all so friendly and approachable. Nothing was too much trouble , particularly in the restaurant and bar. The hotel has only been open a few weeks and there are still a few facilities not open but I will certainly return next year when the pool area etc should be complet. Thank you for a lovely stay”

“Amazing views, very lovely staff, easy parking, very clean and comfortably spacious rooms. Only thing to note is that if the bar / restaurant is open and music on, and it's summer and you have windows open, it can get a bit noisy on the top floor. We stayed Friday and sat night so that might also make a difference. Parents were in room on cliffside below the restaurant and was much quieter there. Five stars easily even with this!”

“Beautiful and cozy place with everything what you need to have an amazing stay in Newquay. My room has a breathtaking view to the sea, I was amused! Delicious and healthy homemade breakfast and the owner is a lovely person who’s always there to help you. I definetely recommend you to go there! ”

“The staff were very helpful and let me store my pole vault pole, which is over 4m long, in the basement free of charge for the duration of my stay, which was very helpful. The hotel is only a short walk from Fistral Beach and convenient for the town centre. My single room was a good size with large window overlooking the sea.”

“Great place to stop off either to stay or eat”

“The bed was very comfortable had a nice sea view and also a portable fan. Cannot comment on breakfast or dinner as eat out. Plus side there was a lift”

“Lovely retreat in a quaint village placed conveniently between both coasts. Glamping at it's best. The hosts discreet but easily reached. Issues sorted swiftly (beside weather not in their power :).CLose to Newquay, Truro St Ives.Lost garden of Heligan and an amazing pub,walking distance from the site with beautiful food. Breakfast available,basics provided. I had a lovely time despite feeling that the wind will.blow away the tent over te Atlantic. Sturdy tent.”

“Clean, nice room for a single person. My private bathroom was Cosy. The staff's were above and beyond the call of duty. They worked hard to maitain good standards. Everyone was happy with their stay that i saw. Wish I'd gone to the bar there looked fantastic the morning after a party look. I missed it. Would definitely stay again. Want a double room next time. All the rooms have private bathrooms, this is not a back packers hostel, they are families rooms.”
