Bedruthan hotel and spa is a great place to stay, the staff are all lovely
The spa experience was great and rhe buffet breakfast was of a high quality.
Fabulous staff, spa was top notch, the terraces were amazing to sit and chill in comfy chairs, barman Alex is a credit to the hotel, very knowledgeable and happy to chat, all staff were so friendly, short walk down to a gorgeous beach and the food was awesome, hubby said it’s the best steak he’s tasted!! Already looking to book for my birthday in October although we’ve just got back today!

Friendly and courteous staff, great SPA, amazing views at breakfast time (wonderful choices!).
Great location with spectacular views. Short walk to beach. Food adequate. EV charging is a bit of a lottery. Cars parked by the chargers but not plugged in and obviously staff struggled to find the offenders so that the chargers could actually be used. Great for families and dogs!

Despite the 1960s look from the front and the scaffolding this hotel is built into the side of the hill is a hidden gem. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The food was excellent and the views of Mawgan Porth were stunning even in the unpleasant weather that we had. Really enjoyed the spa too. Even the Yogi tea that was on offer. Would definitely stay there again
All the staff were very helpful and friendly from reception to spa to waiting staff, could not fault them. Also the food was really good, we ate in the more relaxed restaurant one night and it was lovely. Breakfast was always fresh and varied. We used the pool and spa but didn’t have any treatments. The area was always clean and well looked after and the pool was lovely and warm!
Stayed for a night for a little break sea view room, absolutely stunning place loved it will be back again

Overall it was a good hotel. The spa is quite pricey. The access to the beach or to the small town from the hotel requires a walk along a narrow uneven path with steep steps or you can walk along the roadside but there is only a pavement for about half of the journey so you end up walking in the road, which is narrow and has blind spots. As it is not fully accessible to everyone you would need to bare this in mind. You could drive to the beach & restaurants but from what are saw there is not a lot of parking. It would be nice if the hotel ran a shuttle service to the beach.
The hotel itself could do with some rejuvenation on the outside and having the windows cleaned on the inside and outside of the rooms would be a good idea.
The Wild Cafe is great for all meals and has a wider menu than the Ogo restaurant and provides better value for money. It would be great if they could create a section in The Wild Cafe that is adults only as listening to screaming children is in no way relaxing. The cocktail bar is nice and if you get a spot on the terrace in the evening you get great views. It would be better if there was a bar by the pool, even if only for peak season. This would save you having to go up and down steep steps.
The pools are good, the smaller one is heated. The sun loungers are not very comfortable as they are in just 1 position so you can’t lay comfortably and read.
I don’t think I would call this a four star hotel, definitely a solid 3 star.
