“Quiet location Free parking Comfortable bed Minor issue - tv didn’t work ”

“The bed was very comfortable, my room did not face the main road so was nice and quiet. The room was basic but ok for a short stay; the TV worked, there was some storage space and the shower was hot if needed. There was no kettle etc and it would have been nice to have a fan at least because it was incredibly hot in the room (I stayed when temperatures were above 25 degrees).”

“Loved the staff who run it was very helpful couldnt do enough for us didnt know about the shared bathroom if knew wouldnt of booked but once there it wss ok food was lovely”

Beautiful chapel views from our room which also overlooked a sweet field with sheep. We were welcomed at the door and bid goodbye personally. “Our second stay at Moss Cottage and this time we were welcomed by Bill, Peter’s colleague (hello Peter!). This is a very homely place and the welcome is equally warm. The rooms are very clean with good sized en-suite bathrooms. Bill prepares home cooked breakfast at a time agreed so you know it isn’t food that’s been left on a hot plate for an hour beforehand!! “This older home was well maintained and comfy. It was close to the centre of Banbury and down the hill to Banbury Cross and the statue of the lady on the horse. Breakfast is included and there is a wide range of cold or hot meal options; there is a kettle in the room with tea bag’s and coffee packs with sugar and UHT milk made it easy to have a hot drink in your room early morning or in the evening. “Had a great stay here whilst attending a nearby wedding. The hostess Vicky was very helpful. flexible and friendly. Rooms were spacious and immaculate and the breakfast in the morning had a very large selection of things to eat as well as a cooked to order breakfast. Everything was great...recommend to anyone”

“Delightful accommodation in a beautiful village pub. As a family of three, we stayed in the Superior Suite, Room 4. Our window view was a charming old church. Room/linen was spotless, towels were hotel quality, powerful shower, comfy beds, amazing cooked breakfast and kind hosts. No pub noise and we stayed on a Fri and Sat night. It's very quiet. Safe car parking right outside too. Dog friendly. Great location if visiting Cotswolds/Diddly Squat and The Farmer's Dog. Wish we could have stayed...
