Absolutely amazing stay! Perfect location. Great friendly welcome at Check-in from Alberto. Loved our room. Amazing view. Breakfast was perfect - Ramona was so lovely and helpful. Great to see happy smiley staff! Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

To begin with, it should be noted that I’ve never written a negative review. However, our experience with The Battery Wharf warrants one. We arrived around 12:00 noon and were told no rooms were available. No big deal, as we understood it was a few hours before the check-in time. We were told we would be “placed in a queue” and they would text us when a room was ready. After never receiving a text, we returned to the hotel around 6:00 p.m. Luckily, our room was finally ready. When we got to our room, we were immediately hit with a disgusting smell. It was so bad that the bellman commented on it. He (and my husband and I) assumed we would be able to change rooms. We called the front desk and were told all rooms were sold out. The only help offered by the seemingly disinterested front desk clerk was to send housekeeping to “freshen things up.” Knowing that wouldn’t do any good, my husband and I went on a mission to buy candles that would hopefully mask the nasty smell. It’s a good thing we did! After coming back to our room 90 minutes later, the smell was still just as strong. Who knows if housekeeping even came by. To add insult to injury, someone else’s hair was on the shower floor. I’ve stayed in hotels that were 1/2 the cost of this hotel but I’ve never had to stay in a room that nasty. At $421 a night, we expected at a clean room at the very least. We will never make the mistake of staying there again!!
