Marne Vacations

It was OK for a one night stay. I wouldn’t want to stay longer than that. The room was mostly clean. There was a used condom wrapper behind the phone, and the exhaust fan in the bathroom was covered in mildew. The conditioner bottle in the shower was empty. The room also reeked of smoke even though it was a non-smoking room and I think the whole property is supposed to be non-smoking. Lots of stains on the hallway carpet. I got woken up in the middle of the night by noise in the hallway. None of the vending machines on the second floor had anything in them. Beds were hard. Since this is essentially an airport hotel, I think it was fine for a one night stay, but I certainly wouldn’t vacation here.

We stayed only overnight to catch a super early flight in the morning at Grand Rapids Airport. The hotel is being refurbished to become luxury condominiums. Our room was clean, comfortable and had great plugs for all of our devices. Super rate!
