“The host was chill, friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We paid for the shuttle service which was very convenient. The location is within walking distance from many great sites, including Trafalgar falls. I'd recommend staying for more than 1 night to really enjoy the area. The spa and natural pools in the river where perfectly refreshing. There is no bug net, but the fan did the trick and there weren't many biting bugs around anyway. I'd highly recommend the dinner! The portions are generous!”

“I liked the room, the location of the hotel. I liked that the owner brought us tea upon our arrival at the hotel. The facility was clean, spacious and it felt like home away from home. The owner's daughter Shauna, helped me tremendously as I unfortunately had a fall outside of the hotel and Shauna assisted me greatly with ice packs, special pain gel for my knee and also allowed me to have a lower level accommodation as it was difficult for me to manage the steps. “I loved the pool and the landscaping around the property. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was clean & spacious, but very spartan - no microwave and the wifi was frequently buffering. A/C was excellent, bed comfortable and washroom well equipped. No restaurant or bar on-site, though a nice place next door, if you like to eat out meal after meal. Overall I'd recommend it, a fair piece from the main town, Roseau but walkable.”

“If you are planning to travel to Dominica for the best views of the country’s nature. Then this is the resort for you. There are many various type flowers and trees all surrounding the property. “I booked a 10-day stay over Carnival (MasDomnik) at Pinnards Mountain Resort, and it was such a refreshing scenic escape. The mountain views and peaceful atmosphere truly gave that relaxing “getaway” vibe while still being close enough to enjoy the festivities. The shuttle service was a great option to take advantage of, making getting around much easier. “Overall we loved it, though it would have been good to know that you can't drive to the hotel if you don't have a proper 4WD as it is located at the end of a long and steep tarished road. Luckily the hotel offers an transport service for the dirty road between 8am and 5pm. They also offer food(preorder only) and drinks at the bar. The staff was very nice and always helpful.
