“This is a good value option in Lyme Regis. The building is old but quite well maintained. The ensuite was very good and quite large. The bed was comfortable. The gentleman at book in was very good and very helpful with dining options in the town. All round I would certainly stay here again.”

“The Old Bakehouse was a lovely homely place to stay, and the village of Colyton is in a pretty and convenient location to visit several attractions in the area, go to the beach, cycle or hike. Fiona and Steve were excellent, very helpful, and hospitable hosts. “The key was collected from the shop serving the petrol station which I didn’t know at the time. There is a Greggs and Subway which is very handy for food etc. also the garage station is a Londis which sells items as well. The actual rooms are located behind the building of Greggs and Subway hidden away from the main public area and road. My room was clean and the bathroom was clean and functional. “Hotel location was very good and the staff were very nice and helpful. The cooked breakfast was excellent.
The room was comfortable and clean but the walls are thin so you can hear adjoining TVs and voices. It's worth packing some earplugs if you like an earlyish bed time.”

Was greeted by a lovely Lily at the door (their dog)!
Would recommend calling them just before you get there as it can be difficult to find a parking space on the road
