The hotel is situated in an ideal location, just outside the hustle and bustle of the town but convenient to attractions and dining. It's a significant uphill climb from the beach though. We enjoyed the Continental breakfast that was delivered to us each morning. We would stay here again.

Property was small, plenty of character, beautifully done out, peaceful and very convenient, will definitely stay there again. Breakfast was delivered promptly at 8.30, nice to chill in the morning in your room and eat breakfast.

Ideal location to discover Lyme Regis

Ideally placed for the beach and all the local bars and restaurants. Room was very tastefully decorated and the check in process was very easy. Lovely continental breakfast provided daily.

Lyme 1 Hotel

What a gem in the heart of Lyme Regis! The rooms are amazing with great facilities and the location is perfect for exploring. The Owners are extremely helpful, accommodating and kind. Transport links were excellent, including the personal chauffeur and guide (Terry)! Will definitely be our first choice when we come back again.

Great location in Lyme Regis

We had a really good stay at Lyme 1, the location was spot on and close to all amenities and the beach. We stayed in the Cobb Suite which was amazing the continental breakfast is a nice touch as well. The only negative is that the Cobb Suite is on the ground floor and next to the communal kitchen and you get a lot of noise of people chatting in the corridor and in the kitchen. This was not too much of an issue for us as we were awake early.

Room lovely, well decorated includes a coffee-machine . Large bathroom with a walk in shower. Breakfast hamper a nice touch (extra toast and teas and coffee in kitchen downstairs) Staff very nice and friendly. found free parking about 200 metres away ( February. Not sure how easy that would be in the summer? But car park close by)

Delightful

It was just wonderful. Very quirky and original hotel. Beautiful room and bathroom, French doors from bathroom out to terrace with no views but lovely pots of flowers and little table and chairs. Order continental breakfast the night before and it arrives in a hamper outside your door at 08.3 warm croissant/ an au chocolate, muesli and fruit. Tea and coffee in room kitchen downstairs to make yourself toast if you wish to. I loved it. Only downside, no parking. NCP down Broad Street, best £12.95 24hrs with NCP app.

There was some confusion over which room we had booked on arrival, which was sorted quickly with the owners, but was not a great start. Room service was at best chaotic, but otherwise the room was clean, breakfast was fine and the bed was comfortable.

Fantastic little hotel!

Fabulous experience at this hotel! They really think of everything and make you feel special. The warm pain au chocolates in the breakfast hamper were a pure delight to wake up to! Love the eco friendly touches too.

Beautiful boutique hotel in the centre of Lyme Regis, great room and view of the sea, lovely little breakfast table to sit at by the window, bed huge and so comfortable, great shower, communication excellent before we arrived. Breakfast delivered to your door in a hamper, fresh and warm croissant/pastry, yoghurt, fruit, muesli and a help yourself to toast option -all delicious

Just lovely

Wonderful unique hotel. Lovely staff, bedroom and bathroom with a bath which is wonderful to me! I have stayed before and reviewed before; I love it. I brought my husband this time and he loved it too. Parking not available at hotel itself but NCP car park half way up Broad Street a few minutes down the hill from the hotel. Easy to walk down to the beach and a few moments walk to Langmoor Gardens.

Really lovely place to stay, walking distance to town and beach. Breakfast hamper was lovely. Nice touch with chocolate on the bed on arrival. Everything in the room that you could need for a short stay!

The Lyme 1 was the perfect hotel for me: The suite was great; spacious, well furnished and decorated and clean. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. The bed and bedding was unbelievably comfortable. And the hotel was very quiet and serene. The people that run it were friendly, helpful and very flexible - I was able to delay my checkout which was a huge help. I stayed here on a round the world trip and the Lyme 1 was the best hotel by a distance.
