“A very tired, once charming hotel. In my “deluxe suite” the Roman blind was broken and the room generally had clearly not been decorated for some time. Breakfast was appealing. The choice was exceptionally limited and of poor quality. I ordered scrambled eggs on toast on the disk rat morning. I was served some greasy egg on untoasted, sliced wholemeal bread topped with a fistful of unevenly chopped chives. “Very friendly staff both at front desk and in the restaurant for breakfast. But rooms don’t have A/C and with the heat wave it was surely missed!”

“Badic accommodation. Poor value for money. A pub with rooms. You could smell the fried chips when you opened the door in the car park. The staff were jobs worth and not welcoming. Poorly maintained property which felt grubby. My room had a sash window broken so couldn't open it. Only good thing were the bath towels and good mattress. Pillows awful. Make sure you don't have a room on the front of the hotel as the noise from the road is continous through the night. I would not stay there...
