“Beautiful serene property right off the ocean and a river. The ocean is not a beach for swimming but the resort has a pool. Peaceful lush environment. An amazing staff all around. Sernita was very friendly and always went out of her way to satisfy our needs. Ellen was very knowledgeable about the island’s plants and allowed us to harvest to make our own unique teas. “This hotel was very close to the ferry boat marina and cruise ship docks. It's walkable to many shops and restaurants and right on a main street so I enjoyed the noise and vibrancy from the 2nd floor deck. My room was spotlessly clean and had a small fridge and a working air conditioner. The large deck was for all guests and overlooked the street. “I booked a 10-day stay over Carnival (MasDomnik) at Pinnards Mountain Resort, and it was such a refreshing scenic escape. The mountain views and peaceful atmosphere truly gave that relaxing “getaway” vibe while still being close enough to enjoy the festivities. The shuttle service was a great option to take advantage of, making getting around much easier. “Anchorage Hotel is a great place to stay, close to Roseau. We ate breakfast next door at Ocean Edge restaurant, and we bought a few groceries at Green's Supermarket up the road as you go toward Wallhouse community. Our room had an electric tea kettle and coffee supplies and a small frig. Staff here are very friendly and helpful. We also appreciated having parking just off the street for our rental car.”

“Overall we loved it, though it would have been good to know that you can't drive to the hotel if you don't have a proper 4WD as it is located at the end of a long and steep tarished road. Luckily the hotel offers an transport service for the dirty road between 8am and 5pm. They also offer food(preorder only) and drinks at the bar. The staff was very nice and always helpful. Our favourite was the weekday driver. The cottage had a very nice kitchen unfortunately not much utensils in it... Being so...
