“I requested breakfast but was told they didn’t do it anymore. The stairs were cramped with 2 turns and inadequate/absent rails. We did not meet any staff. There was a note saying how we could ring them. The hot and cold water at the wash basin were plumbed in the wrong way round. I did not see any indicator for which was hot or cold. It matters because this is where you fill the kettle. The bed was comfortable and the room was warm.”

“The grounds are really lovely. The sauna was nice but the pool was far too busy and looked unclean. I did not go into it. Breakfast was fresh coffee was lovely and hot. Evening meals were cold and had to send it back a few times. Also they got it wrong. But it was replaced as soon as it was mentioned. The whole hotel was taken over by ball unable to use communal areas .Bar overpriced 4.80 for pot of tea staff which gave one drink checking in nightmare felt like herd of cattle staff unhelpful miserable . Don’t stay here .”
