Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. Room was comfortable, clean and quiet despite some Friday and Saturday night revellers. Pillows are too thick and bouncy due to synthetic filling and if you require things like a fridge and bathrobes you probably need to upgrade to a more superior room grade but altogether, good value and good location.

My family and I had a fantastic one-night stay while attending the UK Games Expo at the NEC Birmingham. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, going out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. The quality of service throughout my stay was excellent, and the food was really tasty, and delicious. The atmosphere in the hotel was relaxed and inviting, making it a great place to unwind after a busy day at the expo. This is our second stay and would highly recommend it to others visiting the area.

The hotel itself was good. But I have stayed several times before and have been greeted by smiling friendly receptionists . On my stay, the receptionist was in the office and only emerged when I was waiting ! Also, customers can no longer contact the hotel itself. There was a Birmingham number but on calling we got deferred to another number which was confusing. I had to request a confirmation email , this did not include the total cost I had paid so I was unable provide my proof of cost if I should wish to have a refund !

The room was nice air conditioning was great as a very hot weekend, lots of choice at breakfast staff were all friendly. The only area that was needing attention was the garden area outside of the bar overgrown and unkept patio area was littered with rubbish and cigarette butts. Parking charges were additional extra $20 for 2 nights, I guess it stops outside people parking but should be included for guests as you register your car at check in.

We had a great two night stay at the hotel. The hotel itself was clean and welcoming and our room faultless, a really great space to work and relax. We used the health club facilities on the Friday night and the supervisor was excellent; very welcoming and helpful. The facilities were a little dated and tired in places but we enjoyed the use of them. Overall a good experience.
