Vacations Close To José Celso Barbosa House Museum

The hotel garden and outdoor area was beautiful!! I didn’t see any staff while we were staying there and rooms don’t get cleaned during the day but besides that the location was perfect and the breakfast station was amazing. The hammocks near the pool felt like a sanctuary. Could relax out there all day.

During my stay 5 nights / 6 days, they just make bed and replenish towels. No dusting or vacuuming. Unfortunately on last day I notice 3 roaches in bathroom, I took a picture and send email to manager. Breakfast is too early 6:30am - 9:30am being on vacations you have to get up early in order to have breakfast. Property is beautiful but so far from main tourist areas, either one, use Uber services or rental car. No close market or store to buy water or snacks. I wouldn’t return to this property.

The resort was beautiful, featuring bungalow-style accommodations, multiple on-site restaurants, three pools, and direct beach access. The staff was exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout the stay. One drawback was the cost. Unlike many Hilton-brand properties, the reservation did not include complimentary breakfast. Guests must either purchase a meal package in advance or pay for breakfast daily. While the breakfast buffet was extensive and excellent in quality, it could become quite expensive. Another consideration is the resort’s location. It is approximately a 10-minute drive from the main road, making it somewhat isolated from nearby shops and attractions. The most significant issue occurred during checkout. The resort had recently implemented a new system integration, but the registration staff appeared to have received little or no training on the process. As a result, checkout took nearly an hour, and the lines became so long that some guests who checked close to the flight departure risked missing their flights. Overall, the resort offered an excellent experience, but the high costs, secluded location, and lengthy checkout process kept it from being a perfect 5 out of 5.

So beautiful had a old san juan feel .Great food for breakfast. Cute little pool. Quit and clean. If you have a car parking is a little walk. The only thing was Air-conditioning was ok not the best. But we'll worth the stay the staff was so sweet and polite and welcoming.

I’ve stayed at this property before, but this visit wasn’t as enjoyable. The room was quiet overall, though the HVAC system was loud. The room feels outdated for the price and could use upgrades. During my six‑night stay, the Wi‑Fi was down on three nights. I was also surprised by extra fees: an $11 resort fee and a $25 nightly parking fee, which weren’t clearly advertised. These charges don’t match the amenities offered. Guests should also be aware that the surrounding area has a noticeable odor from algae in the water, which impacts the experience even though it’s not the hotel’s fault.
