“Fabulous pub with rooms in a perfect location for the castle, canal basin and a wander around the local shops. Onsite parking made for an easy arrival. Every member of staff was super friendly, efficient and helpful. Receiving a flask of fresh milk was a great touch too. Breakfast was delicious and liked the local provenance. “This is an absolutely charming inn attached to a pub and restaurant. The room is cozy and updated. The restaurant food is local, fresh, and beautifully prepared. Sunday roast was just delicious. You’re in the Yorkshire Dales National Park with a number of beautiful walks/hikes right outside the door.”

“Booked just for one night so apart from sleeping there we really only experienced the breakfast. Must say this was excellent with good quality ingredients and quick service. But disappointed that we were unable to get a snack in the afternoon as the chefs had left and not back until dinner prep. Room and bathroom was very clean. Parts of the hotel were well worn particularly stair carpet”
