“Whilst the website does state that the bathroom is a shared bathroom, it is not obvious when booking. The bathroom was not the cleanest, with empty shampoo bottles left, and open shower drain, and the drain was blocked and slow draining. Otherwise, the bedroom was clean, the bed very comfortable, and the food, drink and service in the pub was great.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our four night visit to Stable Lodge - lovely, clean rooms and the property is in a nice quiet setting which is great after a busy day doing "tourist stuff" in the Cotswolds. Mark and Mona were great hosts. Thanks also to Andy for the great breakfasts (and chats) and to Mark's Mom Sarah who was visiting and helped us with a dinner reservation when we were having trouble with our phones!!”

“Lovely old pub in beautiful location, excellent breakfast, with home made preserves. The dinner menu looked very exciting but sadly we were dining elsewhere. Staff most helpful, carrying luggage and providing information. There is an onsite brewery! The night was extremely hot, so difficult to sleep, but very comfortable bed and well equipped room. The bathroom could have done with refurbishment to the tiling and taps, but was acceptable. There is a large parking area, by the river garden.”

“Absolute disgrace of a place. Myself, my mum and my two children booked here for two nights. The fold out bed was apparently for two people. There’s no way. There was a single duvet on it and only one clean towel on top (three towels in total for 4 guests), so even the staff are aware that it cannot sleep 2 persons. This resulted in myself and my two children sharing the bed and my mum on the sofa bed. The tv flex wasn’t long enough to reach the socket. There was a used plaster, hair ties and...
