“This was our second stay at Fowlescombe Farm and it only reinforced our view that it is one of the most special places to stay in the UK. This time we stayed in the Pond Suite, which was every bit as beautifully designed and comfortable as our previous accommodation, with lovely views across the surrounding countryside. Being one of just three rooms within the Farmhouse, we particularly enjoyed having direct access to the spacious, well-equipped kitchen and the cosy lounge areas...

Its elevated position offers fantastic views over the harbour and it's just a short walk from all the shops, bars, and restaurants, making it an ideal location. Although our room was quite small, it was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Breakfast was a real highlight – freshly cooked to order and absolutely delicious, with an excellent selection of cereals, toast, pastries, fruit, and yogurt available for guests to help...

“The hotel is absolutely gorgeous and spotless. We had a beautiful view of the ocean from our room, which was very spacious. The bed was quite comfortable and the rooms seemed to be sound-proof because it was so quiet and relaxing. Livermead beach is located across the street; the beach is beautiful, but the sand disappears at high tide, so be sure to plan your beach day around this. We also loved the stunning views from the rooftop terrace bar. We would love to return to Torquay and stay here...
