“Nice old plantation style house with a beautiful yard and view of Hilo.
Staff was nice and helpful, even tho I arrived a day and a half late.
Very peaceful place to stay, with birds chirping in the morning and coqui frogs croaking at night.”

“We liked the room and liked the location - just steps to the Farmer's Market. This is more of a note to Expedia than to the Hilo Downtown Inn. This is the second place we have rented through Expedia that didn't tell us we'd need to negotiate stairs. My wife has trouble navigating stairs. I think the property and Expedia have an ethical and perhaps legal obligation to inform potential renters about the stairs.”
