“Excellent hotel! Excellent staff. I arrived late due to being held up at work so called ahead, the chap on the phone was kind enough to wait 1hr30 past the check-in deadline for me to get there, thank you! Had only booked the single room for 1 night, while the room could be classed as a little snug it was nothing less than very comfortable. The room is very well presented and incredibly clean, bed was super comfy and bathroom was spotless and of a decent size. Paid extra for the Full English...

“Check-in and out were quick and friendly. The staff were busy but always pleasant and willing to help. My dinner was OK and breakfast excellent. “The staff were lovely. The room was very fashionable and would appeal to young people, I think. As an oldie, I found the shower really hard to deal with: no signs to tell you which knob controlled the temperature, so I had to stand under almost scalding water trying out both kmobs in both directions to adjust it . There was no mat and no handle. As I’m 77 and have a bad back, I was in constant danger of slipping. And the style of shower means you cannot hand-hold it. So I felt that modern design...
