Relaxing and comfortable stay

The room was clean and comfortable, not at all noisy. We had dinner in the restaurant which was delicious and very reasonably priced. The team at the Four Horseshoes were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was very good too, large portions and a big pot of tea. We had a really relaxing break.

What an excellent country pub. We have a lovely steak meal and used the garden to sit outside and have a drink before retiring to our room. The staff were welcoming, attentive and friendly.Breakfast was well cooked and very enjoyable. Our room was lovely and clean but the toilet flush didn’t work as well as it should. Overall we had lovely meals and a great stay made better by the welcoming friendly and attentive staff

The food was outstanding, tasty, well presented and good proportions. The experience over was lovely. I found the roof height rather low and banged my head more than enough times on the low roof beams. There are signs all over saying watch your head, but when looking down to mis the beams and another even lower one comes up, well I must say, I had a head banging time :)
