Vacations Close To El Dorado Golf Club

Una decepcion, reservamos en este hotel porque las fotografias mostraban camastros y palapas en la playa, cosa que no fue cierta, hay muy poco camastros en las albercas apenas alcanzamos unos, pero para tratar de remediarlo tuvimos que pagar por las "Baly Beds" y todo iba bien, hasta que vimos la alberca que cada vez se ponia mas sucia, estaba super sucia, de hecho la tuvieron que cerrar para darle mantenimiento porque ya no solo estaba verde, estaba enlamada y deemasiado sucia, nosotros ya habiamos pagado y pedimos el reembolso, solo nos reembolsaron un dia, el servicio de bar en la alberca era malo ya que cada 3 horas te llega una bebida, el personal es muy amable pero yo fui para ser atendido bien, y pues la culpa no es de los trabajadpres si no de los administradores que no tienen el personal suficiente. La comida no es buena, o sea en conclusion es un hotel muy malo, esta como abandonado, yo no lo recomiendo

This resort was horrible! Went for boyfriend’s birthday and was never able to use any of the pools including the swim out I paid for! The swim out pool had algae and was never cleaned until the last night we were there! There was vomit in the adult pool and the beach is not swim able! The staff never responded to our requests! The blinds were broken I had to use my hair clip for privacy and the food was terrible!

Food choices excellent and pools well kept. Very relaxing 2 br was spacious with 3 bathrooms

This hotel is absolutely wonderful. Everything is amazing. Really a great stay. We will be back for sire

Overall great experience.

We stayed for 8 nights at Solaris Lighthouse with 2 kids ages 11 and 12. Things that were great: -Rooms were clean and housekeeping was super great. They refresed water bottles, towls, and cleaned everyday. AC was good in the rooms. -The breakfast buffet was great! We loved the omlette and crepe bar. Pool snack bar was good and fresh. Everybody always found something to eat. -Pools were never too crowded and kept clean. Lots of chairs and towels to go around. -staff was always super friendly and happy to help. -The banquet/party nights were awesome. Mexican night, father’s day etc. -The spa is great! I had a great massage. Things that could stand to improve -To be clear, the beach is not swimmable at all. -The swim up bar was was understaffed in my opinion. You often had to stand around a while to get served. They played music very loud. -the reservation restaurants (don gus, francescos, but we couldn’t get into tavo) are mid at best. I would put it in the wedding food category. -There is not a ton for kids to do. Aside from swim in the 2 of 3 pools. Could use an arcade, pool slides, games, anything to occupy tweens. -this is a timeshare resort, and when you first get there, they will heavily try to sell you on it. We really just wanted to get to our room when we first got there not listen to a pitch. Overall, we had a great time at the resort. We were comfortable and well fed. We got off resort a lot for dinner and fun. But it worked well as a home base.

This was a great stay!

The resort was great. We will definitely be going back. The staff, amenities, and pool area were great. The only complaint about the room, is that the lighting in the bathroom was a bit dark.
