Vacations Close To Desert Park Natural Reserve

The very welcoming staff, especially the concierge, make sure you know how things are organized and how to keep your bearings around the massive complex when you arrive. The rooms are very clean. My ocean view room crossed the property, so I was able to take in the infinity pools with the Sea of Cortes just beyond. That came in very handy to keep an eye on the best times to actually go to the pool. Free bar everywhere is priceless: the pool, the lobby, the restaurants. There are plenty of non-alcoholic options as well. The food is always fresh and savory; however, the variety could be better. Another plus: the entire complex is wheelchair-friendly. I'll be sure to return with my 95 year old mother.

Overall customer service was unsatisfactory. Staff wasn’t very helpful only a handful were nice and friendly. I wouldn’t recommend this place. I would look into other places that have better service and value for the price we paid.

We booked the 2 bedroom suite with ocean view. Unfortunately there’s construction blocking the gorgeous view. It can initially be seen in their lobby. We couldn’t enjoy the balcony and plunge pool. The staff was accommodating enough to change our rooms but it was still the same view. Their rooftop pool will eventually have a building blocking their view depending on how high it’ll get built. Aside from that, the resort is very nice and the staff are very friendly!

The rooms are nice, but need some real work. Lime stains everywhere, a sliding glass door that came off its track because it needed lubrication. The main problem was my A/C. I couldn’t get it below 25.5C and it was hot all the time. I complained three times to no avail. I made a last ditch effort and nothing was done. Contrast that with my stay at the renaissance the next day where I made sure to find the front desk manager to compliment one of their employees on their excellent customer service. This is our second stay. I got two rooms this time and took my father in law. Big mistake. If I were you, I’d find another place to stay. There are plenty of them.
