“Clean and quiet room.”

“Beautiful country pub type hotel. Quaintand very tastefully presented. Lovely room, comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast. If i have any negative it is minor. The windows were not double glazed and neded a bit of paint. Otherwise excellent”

“We have stayed here a couple of times , they go above and beyond to make it a pleasant stay, they also include an excellent breakfast plus another nice touch is the tipple in the room ,”

“My second stay here and it surpassed the high bar set by my previous stay. Got checked in by the manager who had just started there. I got a really nice room with a very high finish in décor which instantly put me in a relaxed mood. After finishing my admin, I went on the same 1 hour walk using the same route which takes me through the town centre. It is such a lovely town to walk around. The shower was amazing and allowed me to settle in for a great night's sleep. Breakfast was so much better...

“It's very nice and in a beautiful location.”

“We love this place, we have stayed a few times. Staff are lovely and friendly. Food is plentiful and hot. The only thing that ruined it this time were some other guests who thought it was ok to make as much noise from about 12.30 to 2am shouting, slamming doors and banging about in their rooms. “A wonderful hotel with serene green spaces in a royal atmosphere. I had to work overnight and the gentleman at night desk went above and beyond to help me with an additional TV screen and a place to work at. Simply unbelievably helpful and way beyond my expectations. My wife and kid had a great time in the gardens. I highly recommend this place if you´re out to get some relaxation.”
