“I booked a room last minute when other accommodation plans fell through. It really was excellent value for money so we decided to opt for a slightly bigger room with a bath which was worth it. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious with lots of tempting options. I have already recommended the pub and hotel to friends and family and I would not hesitate to stay again!”

“One of the loveliest places I’ve ever stayed at. It far exceeded my expectations, the rooms were cozy and charming, the bathroom was spacious and had a wonderful clawfoot tub. Dinner at the pub was amazing. I only wish we could have stayed here another night. Thank you for an incredible stay!!”

“Somewhat unloved and in need of refurbishment. A generous layer of dust around the skirting boards. Areas of damp and attempts to fix them in the corridors. Far from great view of the oil tank outside the window. If you like a cold shower this is the place to stay. On a good note the room was very dark…”

“Although this only an overnight stay, we were very impressed by the room and the staff who were most helpful. The bathroom was very clean. The air-conditioning was a little on the cold side even after adjustment. A nice touch were the complementary shortbread biscuits which were delicious. The breakfast was excellent and we will be happy to stay there again on a future occasion.”

Literal, no sé por qué la gente quiere quedarse en Londres cuando puede disfrutar de unos días en la campiña inglesa, teniendo el lujo a todo esplendor, el mejor desayuno que puedas probar. Un hotel con demasiada historia y al mismo tiempo, un precio tan accesible, podrías jurar que estás en un Four Seasons, pero estás en Audley's Wood, una cadena más hermosa y con más personalidad. ”

“The staff were very helpful and attentive, we had to move rooms as the guests up above us flooded our room and this was done quickly and efficiently. The bar and the food was ok but we found both expensive compared to others in the area”

“Friendly reception and service. Room was non-smoking but one could notice it had been smoking before, every time at entering the room. Comfortable bed. It's clear the bathroom had been renovated, but why wasn't at least one hook installed to hang towel and/or clothes? Very frustrating, moreover as the (gliding) door wasn't of any help here either.”
