"Our room had an amazing view of the water and mountains. We were across the way from the bus station to the Northern Lights bus tour. Shopping and dining walking distance. The complimentary breakfast is a feast with different preparations of salmon which I especially enjoyed. The hotel breakfast beats going out to breakfast!"

The location is great -- easy walk to most of the major sites, right on the harbor, near several bus lines, and the bus to the airport stops right next to the hotel. The location is convenient enough that we used it instead of public toilets (which can be difficult to find, and may be pay WCs). "As usual Thon Hotel is a good standard a d excellent breakfast. Only disappointment is some of restaurant staff. One gent seemed to be doing everything while two were completely disinterested and would walk past repeatedly ignoring you. One clearly didn't want to be there ans was swearing to the other. Dinner wasnt great. Shout out to the one guy serving who was friendly and attentive though.At breakfast I only saw the chef while I was there and guests were clearing dishes themselves to make...
