"The Cliff Hotel has a great outdoor Terrace that overlooks the sea and river. When the weather is nice, its a great place to eat or have a drink, especially breakfast. In more inclement times, you can eat/drink inside and still have the great views. The staff were friendly & helpful and you can see some great sun-rises if your room overlooks the sea to the east."

"Great service from friendly and helpful staff, which makes it special. Good location near seafront without being noisy. Room decor not quite to our taste (a bit dated) and the ironwork on the tiny balcony a bit shabby but that did nothing to spoil it for us really. All the important stuff like the service, the food and cleanliness was spot on."

"Great location. Staff on front desk very helpful and. Restaurant staff also very helpful. All food was fabulous from the breakfast, lunch and dinner. Grounds were very pretty and we had a garden view patio room which was very spacious and had a lovely spa bath and separate shower. The Imagine Spa was well kept. The pool, steam room, sauna and jacuzzi all operational during our stay. We would definitely return."
