Excellent accommodation, food and service.

Excellent Hotel, with a nice pub on site. The food in the restaurant was excellent and the service from the ladies at breakfast was superb.

Overall is a good hotel, however room and especially bathroom needs refurbishment. In my room it was imposible to set the water temperature either was cold and then suddenly woter become very hot.

Pleasant 2 night stay

Pleasant 2 night stay. Reception staff friendly, room big, beds comfy. Food in the restaurant good and plenty to chose from. Only thing lacking was atmosphere. There was definitely an older generation staying at the hotel. Spa area was nice, facilities all working. On site pub was nice, good selection of drinks and a good menu choices too.

Please hoover the carpet :-)

I hated the pillows which is no1 thing for me. The rooms could be cleaner and I don't like when the shower is mounted on a wall. On the upside - service and breakfast were flawless.

Room was a bit small and no balcony or outdoor space. Bathroom sink basin cracked and stained. Cobwebs in room and milk carton on floor behind drawers. Hardly anyone staying in hotel so I’m sure they could have done a complimentary upgrade especially as was celebrating our anniversary. We have stayed before and got a better room for less money.

Very dusty , windows were hard to open and mattress definitely needs changing. Was in a disabled room but step was too big to get in shower. door to get in room was so heavy couldn’t even get in room or open from other side Then restaurant was closed the Sunday evening no explanation luckily have a pub on side but was looking forward to having a meal in restaurant

We were disappointed with the standard of the room, it was basic and more like a room in some large franchise which catered for one night stays. Staff were courteous without being inviting and happy to have our custom. We did get a room that was appropriate for our needs, with a wet room and all the grab rails for support in the bathroom. The heated towel rail was turned off and we could not turn it on. As a last minute booking we were a little underwhelmed.

NO SNOOKER TABLE ANYMORE

The photos from Hotels.com had a full snooker room which is the only reason i selected this hotel, so i was thoroughly disappointed when it had gone years ago. i had nothing to do by 7pm and was hoping for a snooker evening so bored bored bored.
