"Worked for us, needed a cost effective overnight in Cork. Such a large hotel so no personal touches, everything was absolutely fine. But if cracked floor tiles and stained carpets bother you look elsewhere. The room was large for family of four, beds were comfy and they seemed to have good sound proofing as we slept great. Didnt eat at the hotel so cant comment on food"

"The property grounds are outstanding, great for a walk or a bike ride along the Lee River. The staff are wonderful the front desk always ready to help guests. Rooms are very clean. Some minor issues would be a dripping faucet from a bathroom sink and paint chips in lift corridor of hotel around the door frame. Restaurant food is incredible. I ordered my special favourite Angus Beef Rib with mashed potatoes and roasted carrots and gravy. This dish is a Kingsley classic that should stay the...

"Gorgeous spot, we had an unusually sunny evening and had the place to ourselves - it was a Monday - 10 minutes drive to Ballymaloe cookery school and shop, don’t miss it! Jade was at reception and was very helpful and friendly. Room was lovely, you couldn’t top the view, between the harbour, lighthouse and ocean it was spectacular. Had dinner at the hotel restaurant, it was excellent. Will definitely stay again."
