Very run down hotel. The workers do the best they can with what they have. Sad that the owner doesn’t put a little money into updating and maintaining the inside and out. Everything is so dirty and smells like smoke. Also seem so short staff. Plus when checking in I was told that outside vendors were giving out more rooms then available and he was just giving them out on first come first serve. I’m so grateful we checked in when we did. There were no hotels with availability anywhere in the area.

Everything seemed very clean and updated, and maintained. They did not have a toothbrush when we requested one.

Clean quite comfortable! Easy parking good food within walking distance! Close to Meijer Gardens

Curtain rod was either broker or had come apart so blinds would not close. Clothes hook on bath of bathroom door was missing. No extra Kleenex or toilet paper in room when we ran out.

The lady at the front desk was super friendly and upfront. Upon checking in, the room was dirty, had stains, etc. She immediately addressed our concerns and switched us rooms. However, we had to take the sheet covering the mattress to the front desk and tell her we didn't want it, cause it was severely stained. The floor and mattress was stained. The drain in the sink didn't work, as we had to hold it for the water to go down. We showered with shoes on. We didn't see any bugs, so, that was a plus. I felt like after I addressed it and we switched rooms, the following days, attitudes kind of flipped. Friendly, but maybe annoyed with me. Pool was the best part, kids enjoyed it. Breakfast was ok. I almost wanted to request a refund/discount and go elsewhere, but I felt like it would have been an argument and the area hotels were pretty booked. I get renovations. But the stains, crumbs, and not clean mattresses were not an excuse. I will not be returning. Definitely look at the rooms before checking in. Check your mattresses.
