“room was of good standard staff were very polite and accommodating enjoyed our stay and would certainly stay again / one small suggestion maybe a mop of some sort in the on suite as floor stayed very wet most of the time after showering thank you ”

“Overall we Would recommend the pub Staff were very helpful and friendly Breakfast was excellent with good choices There were some timing issues on our first night dining in the restaurant . The area around the pub is picturesque and easy driving distance to Chichester and the coast”

“The room itself (room 1 deluxe) is well designed & sympathetically decorated to the age of the building giving a feeling of opulence meets modern. The toilet cisterns take ages to refill but I suspect this is due to the age of the plumbing! The bed is very comfy. The downside to the room is that in the unprecedented heat there was inadequate little fan which meant leaving the french doors open during the night. “It was a nice little hotel, room was spotless and the staff were very friendly. However, if the current hot weather is going to be a recurring feature in future years, then the hotel may want to consider installing air conditioning going forward. Obviously the heat wasn’t the fault of the hotel, and it didn’t detract the enjoyment of my stay. It’s merely a suggestion for the future.”
