Very neat and tidy bedroom, warm & friendly welcome, excellent location for Winchester centre, only a 5 minute walk. St Johns Croft has a lovely quirky ambience, the whole place smells of lovely old timber, gardens are delightful, the breakfast wholesome, much of it locally sourced. Lovely B&B with very friendly owner. I stayed with my best mate and we had a huge room with lots of light. Comfy bed. Yummy breakfast. Beautiful building.

We enjoyed the fresh fruit and yoghurt and the smoked salmon and scrambled egg which we ate around a large table in a friendly kitchen. It was a beautiful house full of character.

Dotty was at the property when we arrived and showed us our rooms. The rooms were lovely, big and had everything that was needed, hairdryer and robes included. The shower room was big, had toiletries and the towels were nice and fluffy. The whole building was fantastic and is a lovely home. Dotty was very informative and friendly making you feel like part of the family. The property was only a short walk from town and has parking. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and set us up for the day. I would definitely recommend this property and will definitely stay again.

One of a kind accommodation, friendly hosts and delicious breakfast. Perfectly situated 10 minutes walk from city centre but felt like you were in the middle of a quaint village! Cat was a bit aloof but it was a cat!!!

A lovely stay

St John's an amazing house with a quirky interior and a beautiful garden. Our room was very clean and comfy and the shower excellent. The breakfast at the communal table provided an excellent conversation with the other guests and the breakfast was very good. There was parking for the car and the location is very central, thoroughly recommended.

The property is a bread and breakfast and family owned. The room was large and the bed comfortable. We were able to walk all around Winchester and see the sites while parking our car at the B&B. Very good breakfast.
