“Our second stay at Moss Cottage and this time we were welcomed by Bill, Peter’s colleague (hello Peter!). This is a very homely place and the welcome is equally warm. The rooms are very clean with good sized en-suite bathrooms. Bill prepares home cooked breakfast at a time agreed so you know it isn’t food that’s been left on a hot plate for an hour beforehand!! “Absolutely lovely stay very homely, comfy, clean lovely b and b , host Alan very knowledgable of local area, and a great cook ! We had a great nights sleep in a comfy bed , no problem parking which was a relief and will definitely return again”

“Lovely room very clean The bathroom was modern but the drainage should be looked at, had to keep the bathroom door closed to prevent the smell coming into the bedroom. Breakfast was good lots of choice”

“Absolute disgrace of a place. Myself, my mum and my two children booked here for two nights. The fold out bed was apparently for two people. There’s no way. There was a single duvet on it and only one clean towel on top (three towels in total for 4 guests), so even the staff are aware that it cannot sleep 2 persons. This resulted in myself and my two children sharing the bed and my mum on the sofa bed. The tv flex wasn’t long enough to reach the socket. There was a used plaster, hair ties and...
