“What a wonderful stay we had - hidden gem literally couple of mins walk to Bowness lakes/shops/restaurants/pubs - beautiful gardens, staff so friendly and helpful, rooms full of character and had everything we needed for our stay - the breakfast was amazing - cereal, every kind of fruit and great choice of cooked breakfast too - plus private onsite parking - we'll definitely be visiting again”

“Great location Very good staff. The Winander section has its own very helpful staff and breakfast with great views. The room we had was a very spacious and well designed. My only comment was a shaving mirror would have been useful given the distance to the actual mirror. The spa access for hotel Guests was somewhat more limited than expected and the outdoor areas were completely separate and require extra payment.
