“I very rarely post a bad review; I normally don't post a review at all if I haven't liked it. However, we booked The Croft based on the number of 5* reviews it had. On a positive, the location of this B&B is perfect - really close to the High Street. However, we've stayed in a lot of places, both higher and lower end, depending on our requirements, and I'm sorry to say that this is probably one of the worst places we've stayed at. “It was homely. The couple were hospitable & took care of their guests & provided a nice breakfast included in price. Had a well cared for appearance.”

Sadly Expedia does not include information about the live music at the Malthouse, so we were unprepared for the volume in our room immediately above the music which went on until about 12.30a.m. Not surprisingly, this rather spoiled our otherwise enjoyable stay.”

“Nice place but the room I had was next door to a nightclub. Friday and Saturday night were really noisy. So much so that I asked to move rooms on the Saturday. To be fair this was not a problem for the staff who accommodated my request. Other than the noise late at night, no issues.”

“Good location with small parking area. Very welcoming staff, offering helpful advice on local area. The room itself was of very high standard and lacked nothing that I needed for my stay. Highly recommend the superb cooked breakfast for a small extra cost.”
