“The hotel is situated in a nice rural location easily accessible from the M5 and close to the main towns of Worcestershire. I would characterise it as a gastro-pub with rooms rather than a hotel. There was some disappointment that my allocated room was completely different to the room photo on Expedia which had French windows. My room was an attic with skylights. It had unusual dimensions. “Good location, quiet and ideal for a base for Birmingham. Good restaurant and bar, with a nice room. Our stay coincided with a heatwave and unfortunately a lack of aircon in the room but would only be a downside because of extreme heat that week.”
