Vacations Close To Benito Juarez Municipal Building

The Seadust Cancun was a nice property, and several staff members were very sweet and helpful to us during our stay. We enjoyed many of the restaurants (the Mexican was my favorite but note it is only open for lunch). Our standard room was huge and very clean and we had an amazing view of the ocean even though we didn't pay the extra $600 for an ocean view. The rooms were very cool and at night, the entire inside of the resort was much cooler than during the day. It had a fun club on the 2nd floor that we enjoyed. Elevators worked great and didn't take too long (we were on the 10th floor). What I didn't like was that you were not allowed to have your drink in the pool. Everything was plastic and when you are in the pool just hanging out, it is fun to have a drink but it was NOT allowed. Even keeping your drink on the side of the pool was a no-no. The sargasm was horrible and they did not have it cleaned up on the beach as other hotels did. The sargasm was not the hotel's fault of course, however, there was not a lot of beach front to clean up and it would have been nice if they had. If you sit in a beach chair, note the cabanas obstruct your beach view. There was no beach bar as several videos showed. Other than that, for the price we paid, it was a very nice vacation. We enjoyed the north Cancun beaches that had zero sargasm and loved those days. For the price, we would go here again.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ RIU Palace Las Américas — A Resort I Continue to Come Back To As someone who has stayed with RIU many times and at different RIU properties, I think repeat visits say more than anything else I could write in a review. I continue choosing RIU, and RIU Palace Las Américas remains one of the properties that keeps bringing me back. When you travel frequently, you start noticing the difference between a beautiful hotel and a hotel where the people actually make the experience special. Palace Las Américas has both. The biggest reason I continue to appreciate this resort is the staff. From the moment you arrive, you are welcomed by people who genuinely seem to care about the experience you're having. The front desk, management, bell staff, housekeeping, restaurant and kitchen teams, bartenders, servers, maintenance staff, and entertainment team all contribute to making the resort what it is. I especially want to recognize the employees who work behind the scenes. Guests don't always see how much work goes into keeping a resort clean, maintaining the grounds, preparing meals, keeping restaurants running, and making sure hundreds of guests are taken care of every day. That work deserves recognition too. The entertainment team continues to be one of my favorite parts of the RIU experience. Their energy, personalities, and interaction with guests make a huge difference. They don't just provide entertainment—they help create the atmosphere and memories you take home with you. The r
