“The bathroom was small and dirty with mould growing up the pipes behind the wc. The w.c. was filthy in the bowl. The stairs leading to the room - the Stour Room - were dusty with bitts all over The property looks lovely outside but i would not recommend it to anyone and i think you should visit this inn urgently. ”

Everything was most satisfactory and we ended our stay with a delicious full English breakfast which kept us going for quite a while!!! “Comfortable, clean room in a quaint old pub. Food was OK, but pricey. The most disappointing thing, given that the pub is owned by Adnams, was the quality of the beer. I tried all three of their staple brews, all of which I know and like, but they were all flat and lifeless. They were also very expensive given that they were only brewed ‘up the road’!!”
