What a gem of a place.

We’ve just come back from an overnight stay at this little gem. Doug met us outside & showed us to our room, and what a lovely room, absolutely beautiful, such character, spacious, impeccable & very comfortable.. We met Kay at breakfast, such a lovely lady, & breakfast that was soo good, plenty to choose from, a lovely hot cooked breakfast. A perfect stay we will definitely be back. ThankYou Kay & Doug for your lovely hospitality & making our stay so memorable.

Amazing attention to detail. Highly recommend.

Beautiful B&B. Room was delightful and so spacious. Our hosts made us feel very welcome, finding us books and information to enhance our trip. You could feel their warmth and felt that they enjoyed hosting. Really lovely people. Breakfast was excellent in your own private space, every thing you could need or want was there. The gardens are beautiful to enjoy and the building stunning. Highly recommend.

An amazing stay, from booking to completing! Booking was easy, with details to check in provided. We had read reviews on various platforms and really looked forward to our stay, and it did not disappoint! Communication was amazing, and arrival on site just as described. Greeted by our delightful hosts, we were shown where everything was, and left to enjoy our stay, with them being close by if needed. The room, where do I start.. The room exceeded expectation, clean and everything you could need provided. The room was clean, bed was comfy, and the room warm on a colder night. The garden is delightful and I can imagine stunning in the summer when the flowers are in bloom. When checking in we asked what time we would prefer breakfast, the next morning, we were shown to a beautiful breakfast room and given options for a full cooked breakfast, accompanied by a selection of fruits, cereals, and more. Checking out was easy and pleasant, we hope to return soon for another amazing stay.

We had a lovely 1 night stay in the luxury suite. The suite was just as beautiful in real life as it looked like online. Doug and Kay were really friendly and helpful. There is lots to do in the area. We would recommend the Angel for dinner. We would like to return in the future.

Gorgeous Greyhound

Excellent accommodation in an old building, loved the slopey floors and low ceilings. Luxury bathroom with bath and spacious shower. Great location, had a lovely meal in the Angel a 2 minute walk away, proper pub! Hosts were very friendly and the breakfast was excellent! Overall fantastic place to stay

Amazing character house with garden and easy parking. Hosts were friendly and kind. The room itself was large and full of charm but still with all modern expectations met. Absolutely fabulous in every respect! Gorgeous suite with lovely beams, super leather sofa for relaxing and watching TV, wonderful gardens and facilities for outdoor picnics. Very genial hosts who genuinely care and want to do everything possible for you to enjoy your stay. Superb breakfast with lots of choice and beautifully cooked. Very comfortable bed, a great night's sleep. Very safe and quiet, with easy access to all sorts of attractions and walks. In all - perfect! We will be back!
