“Great little find. Modern and clean rooms and great food options available”

“Everything about this property was perfect. Lovely clean room with modern power shower beautifully tiled. Lots of little extras such as luxury soap, shower gel, body lotion. Plenty of tea and coffee sachets and a small bottle of milk each day, not to mention the little chocolates and hot chocolate and biscuits. A small fridge with ice box in the room and of course a kettle. They just enjoyed adding those extra touches which make all the difference. The outdoor pool and sunbeds were perfect...

“Very welcoming staff and comfortable stay, we enjoyed eating at the pub too and were able to run a tab on the room which was very convenient. Breakfast was fantastic and varied. Parking was a bit tricky on arrival but was sorted, it’s worth getting in touch before arrival to understand arrangements for this. Would definitely stay again if we visit Oakham in future”

“Me alojé durante tres días con mi pareja en el hotel Holiday Inn Corby y al segundo día (después de la primera limpieza) nos dimos cuenta de que a cada uno nos faltaban 50€ y 20€ respectivamente. Sabíamos perfectamente donde lo habíamos guardado porque no podíamos utilizarlo en Reino Unido y lo dejamos en la habitación dentro de las maletas (cerradas ambas) para cuando volviésemos a España. El dinero al final es lo de menos por la cantidad que supuso, pero lo peor fue la falta de atención que...

“La estancia fue perfecta.la habitación grande con un buen baño. El servicio impecable; de hecho tuvimos un problema con la tv que no funcionaba y el propio hotel, sin reclamación previa por nuestra parte, nos ofreció una compensación. Una forma de actuar muy honesta y un ejemplo a seguir.”

“Nice room, with excellent bathroom. The outside needs tidying up and some painting, so we were initially concerned when we arrived, but the rooms were fine. Nice quiet location too. The cafe is shut due to staff illness, looks like has been for a while but the Two Flags cafe a mile down the road is excellent for all day breakfasts, especially if you like motorbikes.”

“The history and outside appearance of the inn was impressive, unfortunatley the rooms definately did not have the wow factor for me. The Oundle suite bathroom was very tired in terms of furniture and building. The shower looked filthy and I didnt want to use it. It wouldnt take much to improve by cleaning the grout and re plastering. We paid £612 for a 3 night stay but the standard of the rooms do not reflect this price. The service was also not great, the first night there it took 20 mins to...
