Had a very short stay here but room was well equipped and was clean and comfortable. Only issue was parking as this required pre-booking which was not made clear when we reserved the room. As the hotel carpark was full, we were advised by staff to park in another carpark which was a 10 min walk away. Had to do this in the middle of the night so not great as we were unfamiliar with the location.

The hotel and staff wee very good. The main reason I’ve marked them down is the fact that you cannot co tact the hotel directly by phone. I tried at least four times and spent about an hour listening to pretty awful piped music holding the line open. The parking was a problem in as much that you have to pre-book. This isn’t mentioned during the booking process but only after you’ve booked in an email from the hotel. As ours was a flying visit to visit a poorly relative urgently I couldn’t book a fortnight before as the receptionist seemed to expect guests to do. I am also unhappy with Expedia inasmuch that when I searched for an hotel with a car park, I didn’t expect it to be limited parking. Fortunately, there is offsite parking about a five minute walk away from the hotel but, of course, security is a bit of an issue.
