We loved the property. We have been to Barbados before and therefore understood the geography of where the East Resort is located. We stayed in a one bedroom villa. I’m not sure that the listing is comprehensive enough. The villa is beautiful, spacious, with lots of amenities in the room. The kitchen has a microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer, hot plate and fridge freezer. They leave you sugar, tea, coffee, milk, washing up liquid. The bathroom is beautiful. Shower no bath. Double sinks, separate toilet. Four poster bed. Outside is a barbecue, they supply you with briquettes. Table with comfy chairs on the patio also armchairs and two loungers. They supply towels for the bathroom and Beach. My recommendation would be to get breakfast included. We booked through hotels.com. And had this included. We ordered the night before and it was delivered either at 8:30 or 10 am timings to suit you. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Staff were lovely. There are some things you need to be aware about that we couldn’t find details on before we left and trying to make contact with the hotel was difficult as they did not respond to emails. East is remote. You do need a car. The nearest supermarket is half an hour away. Driving in Barbados is not easy, especially at night time. The roads are poor. There are no sidewalks so you often come across people walking on the road unexpectedly. However, in situ we had no complaints about the staff, they were helpful and efficient.

It is an all inclusive, but do not expect to eat well, breakfast was the best meal of the day, it is cheap food with lots of pasta and rice, some chicken and I did not see one piece of beef, some ground meat in a chili or pasta. The room comfortable, with god air conditioning, but terrible internet. The property is by the sea, but dont expect to have a beach, you get into the ocean via stairs directly to the water because there is no sand beach in this property. At the end you get what you pay for, I needed to be in the north side of the island, so I chose this property and I would stay here again, but at least once a day, if is within your budget (extremely expensive island), plan to rat out once a day.
