“A minor mistake made while booking turned my experience into a complete nightmare. Because of my dyslexia I booked Friday night instead of Saturday night (made the booking the night before, on Thursday). I got an email on Friday asking me how my stay was going, and I realised a mistake had been made. I then spent three hours (!) on the phone trying to resolve the situation, going round the houses. “A very cute place to stay in a lovely market town. Parking nearby (free on Sundays and overnight). Access to the rooms, due to the nature of the historic building, is not the easiest (uneven floors, narrow corridors and stairs). The room was absolutely lovely though; the bed was comfortable with quality bedlinen and pillows. The breakfast buffet was welcome - a small table and chair would have been welcome. “Beautiful guest house …very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful rooms, lovely and clean, with mini bar …and they little details in the rooms like Disaronno liquor ….a little Italian restaurant situated downstairs. Maldon is a beautiful village, with little shops and restaurants just around the corner, I would also highly recommend Mrs Salisburys for food & service too which is just around the corner on the high street. Parking is also available. ”
