“I feel sad writing this review as this is such a lovely building with huge potential to be a great place to stay. However, the Inn was actually closed on our arrival and all the lights were off, someone was waiting to check us in, but then left immediately after showing us to our room. There was only one bath towel and hand towel which we needed to share, the room was on the front facing a busy road and junction with traffic lights. As it was hot, there was no fan provided. “Lovely location. Could do with a little tidy up. Rooms are lovely but corridors carpets and paintwork in the coach house could do with a make over. Left over cigarette buts on outside of property together with leftover beer bottles!”

“Beautiful location, great historical house, huge rooms, and a nice spa. As a whole, a great stay, although it could do with some maintenance and a bit more eye to detail. Staff were wonderful and very helpful.”
