“We went with our children, who are 5 and 2. The family room we stayed at was big and spacious, so was the bathroom. All beds were comfortable, and they even had a cot ready for our 2yo. The children had a blast playing at the large play area while seeing the goats and alpacas. Breakfast was included and it was pretty good. The only downside was that, even though they have wifi, we had no signal in our room, so we could only go online (wifi or otherwise) at the restaurant and common areas.”

“This was an excellent stay. I was made to feel truly welcome throughout and the staff really did go above and beyond. It was refreshing to stay in an independent hotel and I would highly recommend it.”

“Everything was excellent. The room was large, really clean and nicely decorated, as was the bathroom. Directions really clear. The breakfast was superb. All the food was fresh, with choice of cereal, fresh fruit, pastries, bread, pancakes, crumpets and hot breakfast cooked to order. Entrance and eating areas also beautifully presented (and decorated for Halloween in our case). Staff were really friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend The Keep and would book again any time we return...

“This was my second time at the Lordleaze hotel & both times were an absolute pleasure. The main road to the hotel is through a housing estate but don't be put of by this, because once you reach the drive to the hotel the grounds are very scenic and the hotel gardens are pretty with plenty of seating space to the rear. “This is a corporate hotel in a city, there is nothing special about it. The restaurant is mediocre but the people are really nice. Hotels.com is WRONG they don’t have king beds. I would not stay here again. You have to pay for parking and walk about a block, no loading zone in front of the hotel. ”
