“Lovely hotel in an ideal spot for walks along the Dorset coast”

“The room was clean, shower over the bath, but could be a problem to older guests encluding my wife. Placed my towel on the edge of the bath but it was not replaced, but we were told it had to be in the bath. At breakfast we were served with an overcooked fried egg on our first morning, the next morning we had a very greasy and hard fried egg with black bits on and the mushrooms were cold.”

“Our family had a wonderful time at West Bay staying at 2 Driftwood. The accommodation was clean, warm and situated in the heart of the town. It was only a few minutes walk from the beach, restaurants and the jetty. It is such a pretty place, the view along the beach is stunning and everyone we met was friendly and welcoming. I recommend staying here.”

The food was good and set us up for our busy days. We met Kim in housekeeping one day when we stopped by midafternoon. Our room was always spotless and looked as if we had only just arrived. “Great hotel, excellent location. The bedroom was large enough to accommodate the 3 of us and the bathroom was huge too. Bedroom was clean with coffee, tea, water and biscuits as a nice touch. Staff were friendly and very helpful on more than one occasion. Breakfast was amazing, huge choice and delicious. Location was excellent, right on the high street and 30 seconds to the beach. Parking was also available on site and EV chargers. My only issue was the the pool and sauna were closed...
