Being based in Bridport was excellent as each day we went somewhere different, ie Lyme Regis, Dorchester, Sidmouth, Seaton, Weymouth, West Bay and that's just the nearest ones. The parking area was never a problem we never had any trouble parking there. The rooms we had had plenty of space, and a little quirky which we liked. The staff were really helpful and made our break very enjoyable. Kind regards Paul Donnelly.

Lovely place & location, clean & well maintained, we had a great room (Deluxe double room), lovely decor. Dedicated free parking at the rear, staff mainly very helpful, lovely outdoor courtyard area. Just let down by a few things - housekeeping did not replenish the room coffee pods or milk, nor the loo roll (we had to go hunting for these), and although the food was mostly OK (though avocado well past its best!), we had an unacceptably long wait for our cooked breakfast (25 mins after ordering on the first morning) even though it wasn't that busy. Pity, just takes the edge off things.

Always enjoy a stay at the bull and would recommend it - staff are very attentive and helpful. Only downside was no kettle in the room and was advised to use the hot water that is generated from the capsule coffee maker - a slightly odd one as the water would naturally taste of coffee!!!

We LOVED this hotel. Easy parking on a weekend, lovely courtyard room big enough for myself and 3 friends walking the SW coast path. Nice easy check in procedure and SUCH a delicious breakfast. It felt very premium, but for a good value price. It was perfect for us, this was a one night stop en route on the coast path for us, but we wish we’d travelled back to stay here again the second night. Buses very easy right outside the hotel to get along to different destinations on the SW coast path too. High recommend.

A fabulous pub / hotel! The staff were super friendly but very professional. The room we had was exceptional - a family room with double bed and 2 bunk beds (one of which housed our adult daughter without any problem). The new interior decorations were gorgeous - Pooky lights, artwork on the walls and corridors etc. Breakfast was magnificent (full vegetarian) and the bar in the evening was great with good choice of drinks and background music at the right level. This place is a real credit to the staff and Fullers who have just done a full refurb. Room was excellent loved the coffee machine and bottled water everyday. Breakfast was perfect start to day and we had wonderful dinner. Complementary drink on arrival was a lovely touch and we will definitely go back.
